SECTION 1 — WORKING WITH DODI IMAGES
Q: What types of photography do you specialize in? A: Dodi Images focuses exclusively on corporate and commercial photography — conference coverage, executive headshots, corporate events, brand campaigns, and nonprofit and government photography. This is not a side service. It is the entire focus of the business.
Q: Do you work with large organizations and enterprise clients? A: Yes. Dodi Images is built for organizations that operate at a high level — tech companies, law firms, nonprofits, government agencies, and enterprise teams. We understand procurement processes, work within brand guidelines, and operate with the professionalism large organizations expect on day one.
Q: Are you available for government contracts? A: Yes. Dodi Images is DVBE-certified and a registered California Small Business vendor. We support formal procurement contracts, RFQ and RFP responses, and purchase order billing for government and public sector clients.
Q: Do you work outside of California? A: Our primary markets are San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Long Beach, and San Diego. We do take select projects in other major markets including New York. Contact us to discuss availability.
SECTION 2 — BOOKING & PROCESS
Q: How do I book Dodi Images for my project? A: Submit an inquiry through our contact form at dodiimages.com/contact. Include your event date, location, and a brief description of what you need. We will respond with availability and next steps within 1 business day.
Q: How far in advance should I book? A: For conferences and multi-day events, 3 to 6+ weeks in advance is ideal. For smaller corporate events and headshot sessions, 1 to 2 weeks is typically sufficient. High-demand dates fill quickly — the earlier you reach out, the better.
Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: Payment is fully refundable within 72 hours of booking. Beyond 72 hours, payments are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel after that window, your payment converts to a statement credit valid for 90 days and can be applied to any future project with Dodi Images.
Q: Do you require a contract? A: We keep the process simple. All project details — scope, deliverables, usage rights, and payment terms — are outlined directly on your invoice. Payment of the invoice serves as agreement to those terms. No separate contract paperwork required.
SECTION 3 — PRICING & PAYMENT
Q: What are your payment terms? A: Full payment is due prior to the shoot date. We accept all major credit cards via Stripe, ACH bank transfer, wire transfer, and purchase orders for qualified government and enterprise clients.
Q: What happens after I submit an inquiry? A: We review your inquiry and respond within 1 business day with availability and a custom proposal. Once you approve the proposal, full payment confirms your booking. We handle everything else from there.
SECTION 4 — DELIVERY & LICENSING
Q: How quickly will I receive my photos? A: Edited images are delivered within 48 hours of your shoot or event. For multi-day conferences, same-day preview sets are available upon request for social media and press use.
Q: How are images delivered? A: All images are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery through Pixieset. Images are available in high-resolution for print and web-optimized formats for digital use.
Q: How many images will I receive? A: You receive the full gallery from your shoot every edited image from the day, delivered within 48 hours.
Q: What usage rights do I receive? A: All projects include a standard commercial license covering internal use, website, social media, and press materials. Expanded usage rights — including exclusivity, advertising, and multi-platform licensing — are available and priced accordingly. Usage terms are outlined in your project agreement.
Q: Do you retain copyright to the images? A: Yes. As the creator, Dodi Images retains copyright to all images. Clients receive a commercial license for agreed-upon uses. If you require full copyright transfer, this can be discussed and arranged at an additional cost.
Q: Is retouching included? A: Yes. All delivered images are professionally edited for color, exposure, and consistency. Executive headshots include standard skin retouching. Extensive retouching beyond standard editing is available upon request.
SECTION 5 — ON THE DAY
Q: What should we expect on shoot day? A: We arrive early, work efficiently, and operate with a calm and professional presence. A pre-shoot brief is sent in advance covering the shot list, schedule, and any access or logistical details. The goal is zero disruption to your team or event.
Q: Do you bring your own equipment? A: Yes. Dodi Images provides all professional camera equipment, lenses, and lighting. No equipment rental or additional setup is required from your team.
Q: How do you handle executive headshots for large teams? A: Team headshot sessions are structured and efficient. We scout a location onsite that works for your space and brand, set up professional lighting, and move team members through quickly typically 10 to 15 minutes per person minimizing disruption to the workday. Teams of 5 to 100+ have been covered in a single day.
Q: Do you travel to our office or event venue? A: Yes. We come to you. Whether it is a conference venue, corporate office, or offsite location across any of our five California markets, we handle the logistics.
